Photo Contest
Official Rules

• The photo(s) & video(s) must be in their original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame.
• Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.
• Entries will be judged by Big Timber. All decisions are final. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
• By entering the contest, entrants agree that the photos & videos submitted can be used by Big Timber for advertising and promotional purposes.
• Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
• The prize must be collected by the winner and is non-transferable.
• The winner will be contacted via the email address provided during entry. If no response is received after [three] business days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
• Violators will be removed from the contest, stripped of any prize(s), and banned from entering future contests.
• All photos & videos must be new to Big Timber – meaning you may enter the contest even if you have submitted photos to Big Timber in the past, however, to qualify for the contest you must submit new photos & videos we have never seen/posted before.

Photo & Video Guidelines:

• Raw images and footage only: no crops; no filters
• The highest resolution is required; no blurry images!
  • Photos: 2MB file size recommended
  • Videos: 720p or 1080×1080 recommended
• Original content only: all content must be owned by YOU! You may not submit professional photographs taken by someone else unless you have purchased/acquired the full rights to share/redistribute.
• Clear all content rights: when you clear rights, you verify that there’s no material in your production that is going to get you sued or prevent the distribution of your production.
• Multiple images & videos accepted per submission: you may submit as many photos as you would like with your entry (within reason).
  • We’d appreciate it if you did not exceed 5 photos & videos per submission.
• Eligibility: To be eligible for our contest, each Big Timber owner may only enter ONE time. If you do decide to enter more than once, we will use the photo(s) from your first submission for judging.
• Accepted File Formats: .JPG .JPEG .HEIC .MOV .MP4

Photo Best Practices:

• Make sure the entire Big Timber structure (or a majority of it) is in the frame
  • Horizontal photos work best for this, but vertical is fine as long as everything fits in the shot!
• Don’t zoom – it lowers the quality
• Clean up all trash, toys, or furniture/organize the space before taking photos
• Make sure iPhone/Android camera is in focus
  • Tip: when holding the camera up, point it at the shed and tap the screen in the middle of your Studio Shed – this will automatically focus your camera
  • This helps avoid blurry photos!
• Make sure your camera lens is clean
• Lighting is best when the sun is behind you (the photographer)

• Judging: the winner will be selected by a panel of judges from the Big Timber team.
